Parallels is my poetic debut. I wrote and embroidered 18 poems about important moments in my life. As a starting point, I took the form of a children's rhyme.
The content and themes contained in each rhyme inspired me to describe what happened in my life a few or dozens of years ago. After writing the poems, I illustrated and embroidered them onto linen, and then fashioned them into a book. Only one copy exists.
In the PDF attached below, you will find all 18 poems in their original Polish versions, as well as in English (translated by me with the help of Google Translate).

Before stitching the PARALLELS into a book, I created an installation out of them.
